There is lots going up outside of Toronto! There are three other metro areas building towers 170 meters (558 ft) or more This fall, construction (excavation) will start on another very tall one for Calgary though, the 222 meter (728 ft) Telus Sky.

Thanks for updates Chadillac! I wish it was a case of them hitting the bottom of the pit, but I believe you are correct, that there is at lest another 20 feet or so to go.

Judging from someone said earlier in this thread - they were to go down 22 meters - about 72 feet. BTW - not quite down to hell yet - not hot enough. Can't see any burning coals or anything like that. They're safe for now.

They've made it down quite a ways. If we can just get some decent weather, they can make some good progress.

They're down a good 50 feet already, so it's possible that the first concrete pour could be sometime in May, judging by the speed they've been going the last 3 months.

It looks like they've made some decent progress since Chad's pic on March 28th. The ramp on the Northeast corner is completely gone now.

Won't be long now. Always exciting to see a new tallest go up.

I don't mean to alarm anyone, but I think the ground must have caved in at Brookfield Place, because this thing went down another 7 - 10 feet since my update last week! Moving at warp speed! I have a feeling they are at the bottom now, it is so freaking deep it's crazy!

I guess nice weather and thawed ground allow them to go a bit quicker.
