I like the Calgary Manulife tower, it's very graceful looking. I have high hopes for Telus Sky and while the design for Brookfield is pretty boring, I think it will ultimately have the greatest effect on the Calgary skyline, at a massive 810ft tall. Exciting times over the next 4 years in Calgary for sure.

I wish we had a tally of things like that here. Would be amazing to see the total cost of everything. Brookfield Place, Telus Sky, and the Central Library combined are over $2 billion just for 3 projects. Pretty wild!

The first one sort of reminds me of the Coca Cola HQ in Toronto.

I like it. River Centre I, although much shorter, turned out pretty good.

Shangri La is just a small residential building, not much is to be expected from it. Of course Saskatoon can do better, that's why they have proposals like River Landing and Saskatoon City Centre, both with towers over 90 meters, and nice designs indicative of a much larger city, though City Centre hasn't released its renders yet.

This is River Landing, though I think most people have seen it already.

This is another proposal in Saskatoon currently known as 275 2nd Avenue.

I assume that Shangri-La is in no way associated with the hotel chain...
That's a brand I would love to see here, Calgary is still lacking a 5 Star hotel, even with the ridiculous amount of money here...

The best part of that is probably half of these are real proposals now! I really want to see what the plan is for the glass bubbles beside the Drop In Centre. I also hope the city got their flood plain calculations right, that whole area was just raised and pretty much all of it was under water in June.
