According to the above photo, there are four more habitable floors to go. With its crown, the MNP Tower will just mange to rise to the height of the Shaw Tower, Fairmont Pacific Rim, Bentall Five, Park Place, Royal Centre and all the other table-top towers.

It's regrettable that this tower won't soar above the herd.

this is the old pic from Aug of last year, you can't see the MNP tower but Marine tower is visible.

So true. This would make a signature tower if ever there was.

I think the same thing that it would have been a land mark and a signature tower if it was 160m+ it would have been much prominent in skyline.

How many floors are up now? This looks to be almost as tall as Shaw Tower but isn't Shaw 42 floors?

It's true there are only 36 actual floors in MNP, but the total building height will be 470 feet with the elevator penthouse slope side included.
The Shaw, alas, is still a bit taller, with the rooftop at 489 feet.

I think the reason for the big gap in the number of floors is because shaw tower is mostly residential and MNP is all office, so it has higher ceilings .

Also, "cyprus" is spelled "Cypress"... Cyprus is an island nation in the Mediterranean.

Fantastic update!
