A380 Dubai to LAX landing in YEG right now?

I just saw a huge plane flying on the east side of Edmonton, and looked it up on FlightRadar.... was going low and slow

Yah for you guys thats two A380's for ya now! You also had a LH A380 about a year ago on a medical diversion.

Should have been a good day for spotting at YEG with the EK A380, ADB AN-124 and FI 757 all at the airport today. Pictures!!!

And not a single good shot to show for it, YYC spotters would have been all over that EK 380 like a fat kid on a smartie.

But wait... Supposedly someone got a good shot of the EK A380 parked beside the ADB AN-124. Problem is they are having issues uploading on another site...

Perhaps, or maybe it's just because your airport is just sooooooo far away.

I'm still jealous more than 48 hours after the fact.

I'd like to see the alleged pic of the AN-124 beside the A388. That may rival the pic that was snapped at YYC a year or two ago of Cargolux's B748F and the AN-124 side-by-side, each with their noses open taking on cargo.

Nicely done. Just keeps truckin' along at a steady pace. International is up compared to Feb 2013, btw.

Indeed it is - and without A/C. As from 05 March with FI providing 5 day service this should help maintain an uplift in international numbers for March as flights to sun destinations start to slow.

What impact AC may have on any resumption of air service to LHR remains to be seen. Unfortunately with AC they only let you look at seat selection AFTER you paid for your ticket...so if you don't like what is available you have to suck it up. My guess is there will be lots of empty seats on AC flights going to LHR.

^I dont think so. I think LHR will continue to be a popular route.
