Yes, it was already discussed in the thread on UT. The floor count skips floors 4, 13, 14, 24, 34, etc. It will be 57 storeys.

As sales have gone so well, perhaps add a floor or 2 now or during construction and get this one back over 200 meters.

I don't know think adding a floor or two is as easier as selling a few more suites. The first submission was over 200 metres but had dropped below 200 metres when it was approved.

I don't care either way, but it will be interesting to see what happens down the line. Nice to get another 200 meter tower on the strip.

The fact that it has been approved and sales have gone well is good enough for me. Yonge street needs a major clean up, and the condofication of the strip is a sure fire steamroller down that path.

They very often add floors, despite being approved at a lower height initially. its a bit sneaky as the board of adjustments doesn't require quite as public of a process, but projects that were initially negotiated down can easily negotiate up again a few years later.

Yeah, I understand.

Just the rush of swift condo sales seems a bit unexpected.

Just found the height for this tower in Burnaby, making it #27 on the 50 tallest proposals list

186.2 m / 611 ft - Rezoning document

Brentwood Town Center Development Phase 1 Tower 1 - http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=102490

Burnaby is becoming a pretty solid #2 on this list with one more proposal they will step up into the slot by themselves.

Also, that is a very nice looking tower. Possibly an aA design? Lol!

They're excavating (or clearing the ruble out)over at 88 Scott...

Walked by the site today, just don't know if any pile driving has been done.

Anyways looks like they're going pretty deep already.

I imagine they are just removing the foundations. The site will be filled in afterwards for the drill rigs.

Hope those towers are just a placeholder; they're incredibly boring and seem to have a completely arbitrarily orientation and relationship to its surroundings.

Don't look like placeholders to me.

There has been some work put into the design and rendering.
