i really like these.. pretty much what i was thinking they would look like.. but are these "official" renders? I know it says "design pending".. just wondering where these came from i guess. gives a nice idea of what the general massing and feel of the buildings will be in the space, if nothing else. this corner of midtown is going to be uber dense soon.

I agree, that's horrible looking building. Doesn't fit to this area.

Wow, , 98 14 doesn't look bad at all , but I'm wondering what's that that tower next to 1180, and 1138 Peachtree finally has a updated rendering...this surprising midtown is about to be Midhattan!!!! Ahahahaha

1301 Peachtree renders

These appear to some very preliminary sketches so let's not get too exercised about them just yet. The architects, Max Scoggins Merrill Elam, are well regarded and their final product should be an asset to the city's landscape, architecturally speaking.

A better result might be obtained if the Woodruff Arts Center partnered with the developers and created a Carnegie Hall like development with a performing arts venue built with a residential tower component. Or even a mixed use with boutique hotel for the international culture tourist in mind.

In the final analysis , this project should and could be a landmark both architecturally as well as culturally.

That's very clearly one of Colony Square's towers.

These NY developer's are really serious as you can tell, but to lean on this, Atlanta has great architecture of skyscrapers they all dont look the same nor their aren't boxy (like NYC,Chicago,Miami and so on) . But as you can see Atlanta's skyline is rapidly changing, and its time to be even more creative...that's why I like these new ideas of the new towers that proposed & going under construction soon (98 14st, 1125,811peachtree,12&midtown and maybe 1138 just because I haven't seen a full rendering of this development.....just gotta say.....its time to get ready for the Future ATLANTA

Now that I have cleaned myself up from the excitment today, I've had the opportunity to scrutenize each.

98 14th Street - why in the world didn't they pull the shortest one to the front. It would definitely open up the towers.

782 Peachtree - Can we all agree this looks sharp? It' nice to see materials other than glass.

AMLI Roxboro and E. Paces Ferry render

The first of the two developments presented includes 180 one-, two- and three apartment units in a residential tower that faces the 2-acre park and a new road, Park Drive, that runs along both sides of the park. Of the 180 units, 45 percent will be one bedroom, 40 percent two bedroom and 15 percent three bedroom. In addition to the residential tower, there will be 60 units that will wrap two sides of the parking deck on the east side of the site, facing both the park and Roxboro Road. The units wrapping the 423-space parking deck have stoops directly onto Roxboro Road.

What an exciting batch of renderings (for the most part).

I hope the final design of the 3 towers on 14th is what we are seeing. Arquitectonica knocked it out of the park, imo.

the last presentation i saw had one retail space along peachtree which i believe was where the 4800 square feet comes from. it took them months to get them to do that much!

yes, i do quite like the design. its functionality needs to be improved a bit, however. hopefully they can submit a better design to the DRC, get approved and then they can start looking for financing.

I am waiting for a possible and hopeful redesign of the unfortunate 1301 Peachtree, but in any case the whole mixture of planned new buildings is very impressive- even if only 50% get out of the ground it will terrific and in the popular word of the day - transformative.
