Liquidation World Is Closing

Sadly, I was in Liquidation World last Friday, and will be closing by the end of February! I didn't go there too often, but I hate to see it go including the jobs.

They'll be closed within a year.
Love your optimism, hope it isn't contagious....

I am a realist. There are indeed challenges with that location however I wish them all the best. A good product & staff along with great marketing can do wonders for a business.

I never like to see any business close as it means that employees are displaced. This store never appealed to me but I do know people who got some wonderful deals from there.

Did a quick Google: "BigLots Liquidation World"
This is just one of several articles that appeared:

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-inv...-of-a-liquidation-giant/article15833292/

So its not just Locally, its across the country that Liquidation World is shutting down.

Well.....I will get something started.
Been hearing different stories on a new Sobeys in the north end. The word was that Sobey's would build a new store along with a new NBLC. Latest I have heard is that is on hold now?
Anyone hear anything new on this?

Liquidation World?

When they announced the closures back in December they said Spring 2014.

Looks like Laura will be opening in McAllister Place this year. They are currently hiring for all positions. Pretty decent catch. Even if it's just for women.
