We even had 7 gay bars at one time, but I think it's down to 3 now... oh, just remembered a coupe more... 5 now.

There are 130 bars listed here:

And how can we forget beer?!

1. We have so much of it, we even let a Utah Brewery set up shop here in Denver. (It's pretty good stuff too).

2. There might be more breweries in the city limits of Denver, then all of Utah. It's pretty close.

3. Here's a mapgraphic I made last year. It's outdated, but it gives you the general idea. There's about 4-7 that are missing.

Denver is 5280 while Salt Lake is only 4327.

Denver also has the advantage of not being named after a stinky, briny, brine-fly infested cesspool.

How so when there's only been four gold medals handed out for the US?

http://ksl.sportsdirectinc.com/olympics/medals.aspx?countryCode=USA

Snowboarding - Women's Halfpipe - Finals - Final
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaitlyn_Farrington

Snowboarding - Men's Slopestyle - Finals - Final Standings
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sage_Kotsenburg

Joss Christensen also lives in Salt Lake/Park City

Jamie Anderson resides in Lake Tahoe, Calif

So 3 out of 4 gold medal winners so far resides in either Salt Lake or Park City.

Native Idahoan Kaitlyn is going to most likely have a run at Sun Valley named for her.

Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time? That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains.-Hermann Hesse

I'm confused, he did some research. How is he not doing this right? Is it because a joke was made, and he gathered some information to see if it was true? That's fine to do here, it would only be bad to do this at a stand-up show.

No, but I think many of the SLC people here on this forum have been breathing in the SLC smog, and it has now reached their brain cells.

It's cultural. You're making remarks about the cultural behavior of a state that has always been very reserved and put importance on being polite. That is one of the most appealing parts of Utah. It's part of its appeal. comments such as the ones above are often misconstrued as rude. It makes me laugh because It just sound like your a clown. Everyone loves a clown.

EPdesign, you do realize I'm from SLC, right? Like they said, you need to fight fire with fire, bro.

Also, it doesn't hurt if you can accept sarcasm, laugh at yourself, and your own city every once in awhile.

I'm embarrassed to associate myself with you SLC forum people...ya'll are officially Buzz Killingtons
