Hey, at least your girlfriend is still on the continent. Mine went away for school in the UK.

If you're in Ottawa hit me up sometime so we can go out for drinks!

Been away from here for a bit, but wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! That wish is extended to whoever you're spending the holidays with as well!
This Christmas is a Calgary one for the wife and I, but next year we'll be back on the island!

Nicely done Newfoundland and Labrador!!

NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR COMMUNITIES TO RAISE GAY PRIDE FLAGS DURING OLYMPICS

By Joseph Ehrman-Durpre
Towleroad

http://www.towleroad.com/2014/02/new...-olympics.html

"St. John's, the capital of the Newfoundland and Labrador province in Canada, is leading the way in an effort to show support for LGBT Russians and athletes during the Sochi Olympics beginning on Friday. At the behest of Josh Eddy, the publisher of LGBT publication The Outpost, St. John's mayor Dennis O'Keefe and the town council unanimously voted to fly a rainbow pride flag over the city hall. Now Eddy's efforts are catching fire in other towns around the province."

missed court date

A little off topic for this forum , but I have been busy at work and home (4 day old 3rd child) and totally blanked on paying a speeding ticket and missed the court date as well.. it was 2 days after the due date. Anyone go through this before or know what i can do to pay this. this is in NB. thanks!

If you have time today, go to any service NB branch, or snb website or there is a 1-800 number you can call, its all on your green copy and with the red number at the top of the copy starting with P you should be able to pay that.

Don't be alarmed, you will probably get a letter from the registrar of Motor vehicle since you have missed you court date and was deemed guilty, giving you a period of time to pay the time before you permit is suspended. If you have made payment before, then just keep your ticket payment receipt with it but there should be no worries.

by the way, congrats for the new little bundle of joy!
