Finally got a decent spot on the SkyTrain this morning to capture some video.

Not a whole lot changed, but they seem to be getting ready for the guideway construction coming up in the next few weeks (which I will hopefully be able to get decent video of on a daily basis).

Love the videos, but could you do a 'reverse angle' shot from the back of the train, pls? Once the train is on the arrival track at Lougheed, we could see how the Evergreen extension elevation changes dramatically as it heads over White Spot.

Long time lurker, first time poster here. Went to take some photos on Friday so finally have something to post.
A few more pics not posted here on my flickr.

These first three are from the pedestrian overpass between St Johns St. and Klahanie Dr.

Looking West towards Moody Center Station

Looking East towards Inlet Centre Station

Gantry with first section detached

From the same location as the previous picture, looking towards Burquitlam Station. Mind the fog.

From just past Burquitlam Station, looking towards where Clarke Ave. turns into North Road. Not much to see but thought I would post it to show how tall the guideway will be here.

North Road at Cameron St. (looking North)
The columns(?) here are the same design as those two blocks south at Gatineau Place, They do seem to be narrower than the other style.

North Road at Gatineau Place, just south of Austin Ave.

From just North of Lougheed Hwy.

From the White Spot parking lot.

WOW! Thanks for much for the photos! We rarely see the Port Moody ground level guideway being built. Looks like tons of work happening.

The photos also show how huge the columns are in the Lougheed Mall area. Its going to be quite exciting seeing it get built in the next three months. This is also the first time someone has posted what it would look like from the White Spot parking lot.

And as an added bonus, your Flickr even showed progress of the Anvil Centre, an office building I've been cheering for...

I'm wondering about the guideway if the centre raised walkway between the tracks is going to be concrete like the Millennium line, or the cheaper method of bolting a walkway on after the fact like the Canada line.

Anyone have some pictures of the gantry building Millennium line pieces to compare?

Not from the very back of the train, but looking backwards from one of the side windows.

Also, took a general overview shot of the east side of Lougheed and the construction on the west station house:

Thanks for the photos and welcome to the forum.

Just a reminder to everyone, do not quote photos unless there is something very specific you would highlight.

Excellent photos, thank you! I am amazed how much work is going on. I need to visit Port Moody and Coquitlam soon again. I wonder how much is happening on Coquitlam's end?

Holes for the station columns have been drilled over the last few weeks at Lafarge Lake. Lincoln Station is just a fenced off section of parking lot. No idea what is going on at Coquitlam Central.

Construction on Coquitlam Central is slated to begin this month, I believe. There's nothing to see there currently aside from the bus loop which was shifted northward.

That video does show how curvy the steal girder is so videos from that angle is probably better.

Nothing much beside some foundation work at the station location. Part of the bus loop and WCE access road will be fenced off on Monday, so I guess that's when the pillar construction really begin.

Nothing had been going on at the Lincoln station site either.

Thank you very much for the photos and videos guys! You really make the thread sometimes.

Here is a construction update as well, in case you haven't seen it:
