The complex across from London Drugs has been updated a couple of times, but agreed that the London Drugs one has really been stagnant. The Earls patio (rear) is a great patio since you've got Palisades and other towers right there over you.

Le Petit Belge - european pastries - is going into the former wrap space on Robson in the 819 condo (at the alley).

Also, the CitiMart convenience store at the Rosedale on Robson closed down earlier in the Fall (likely because of the 7-Eleven at the 819).

Not sure where to put this...

Any recommendations for a massage in Vancouver? I was in a car accident over the holidays and have been super stiff and sore since. I'm in new west but will travel anywhere. Prefer rmt. Thanks!

^There's so many great RMTs in the city. One of the best NA schools is right here in Vancouver!

I'd recommend you just try to find one really close. Bonus points if you can walk there.

You should go for a ride down 3 Road in Richmond. They have tons of massage places there.

Otherwise there's a few places along Kingsway in Vancouver.

. Oddly enough, when you go the BC RMT website and do a map search, there are no RMT's on the Vancouver stretch of Kingsway. Funny that....

These malls make me so angry! Compare this to High Street in Abbotsford - Mills malls are such a step back in terms of large format retail design.

But they are always really successful, so I guess it doesn't matter.

I agree these projects are the grossest things I've seen in a very long time. Its so odd to see this starting at a time when almost all of our regional malls are redeveloping themselves. 🞵🞵🞵 is with the massive sea of parking lots completly sourounding this thing??? what decade do these people think it is lol they could have put some effort in ie the abbortsford mall

It may be a decades old concept but we've seen very similar developments with a sea of parking and an enormous amount of wasted space very recently. Fremont Village Shopping Centre in Port Coquitlam is one of those, just take a look at it when driving east on the Pitt River Bridge, reminds me of the types of power centres built in the 90's in California.

True but that still doesn't seem as bad as this one. Plus I think they are going to be sticking condos in the middle of Fremont and will have office/industrial adjacent

Living downtown, I imagine it's the type of place I would go to once per year, if that. But I guess there's enough population in closer proximity to make a go of it.
