Halifax is one city I really want to see get a lot bigger and more important in this country, has such fantastic history...

TallBob · #**7782** Posted **Dec 18, 2013, 7:01 AM**

I'd like to see Halifax someday.... Looks like a beautiful city!

Nouvellecosse · #**7783** Posted **Dec 18, 2013, 7:28 AM**

Where were the pictures of Halifax? I went back several pages but I don't see any...

One at the very top of this page, and one at the bottom of the last page.

Chadiliaccc: Now there's your 7 building proposal for Eau Claire!! LOL!

Chadillaccc · #**7787** Posted **Dec 18, 2013, 9:01 PM**

I expect the 7 tower proposal to be significantly more inventive looking than that. I could be sorely incorrect though.

They always had that ''New-York style''. To me, at least.

I always thought La Cité would look perfect in the area around the Jacques Cartier Bridge. It would kind of be a marker for having entered Montreal.

Here's a shot of Halifax taken from what looks like about 10 km to the south, nearly out in the open Atlantic:

Actually it was the bridge that gave it away.
