No need for no-flush urinals for LEED.

they usually use them for easy points and im just assuming that they did since it's platinum. i dunno what makes up the points for this project though so perhaps they didn't use them

I've been in plenty of bathrooms with flush urinals that stink far worse.

Maybe there's some confusion out there, but all types of bathrooms and urinals need cleaning.

Tracing the path of Canada Post’s secret mail tunnel

The tunnel beneath Vancouver’s downtown streets will be no more after 50 years as a relic

In expensive and crowded downtown Vancouver, a historic piece of real estate sits empty. It’s been largely out of sight for decades, and now it’s about to vanish.

A 2,400-foot tunnel that runs from the city’s behemoth main Canada Post office on Georgia Street to the Waterfront train station, an early example of mail-delivery technology rendered obsolete, is to be filled in, sealing off a piece of Vancouver’s history.

Well 4yrs after the Olympics I proudly present the COVs installation of the Nike Statue.

Hmm guess they missed the Oct 18th deadline... Perhaps council is sending a stern message to Russia.

Too bad these tunnels weren't a little more extensive. They would make excellent bike lanes.

I've been in that tunnel! They used to run Halloween events through parts of it. Really cool though - I hope they don't actually fill the whole thing in (just the entrances).

I hope they at least give HC a good power washing.

What is the extent of the renovations?

I thought they were revamping the whole thing and putting all new retail in?

I have no idea, which is why I'm asking. Hopefully it's a full makeover.
