its not like condos are sitting empty in TO, the investor owned condos act as rental stock. Even then the majority of units are owner-occupied.

That Edmonton Picture had me fooled, thought it was Montreal for a second there, till I saw who posted it.

That St. Lawrence Market shot is pure crazy..

Hey, it confused me for a brief moment too. Both cities have some pyramid rooves and bevelled corner buildings, and Montreal gets posted way more.

To be fair, Edmonton looks quite massive in that picture. Lighting plus the way it's cropped helps.

Well, I said I was only fooled for a second.

The pyramid shaped roof got me.

Are people actually offended by this comparison? Ohhh superiority complex's...

It may start to happen more frequently in the not so distant future, since Edmonton will undoubtedly be building as tall or likely taller than Montreal within the decade. It's just kind of an odd dichotomy, since Edmonton's skyline is at the top of a huge hill, while Montreal's is at the bottom of a huge hill.

Speaking of Edmonton, I just stumbled across this huge but lovely pic of it...

Comments like that... "Edmonton will undoubtedly be building as tall or likely taller than Montreal within the decade" REALLY!?.. How do you know..? Montreal has way more towers than Edmonton. If they want to catch up they have a long way to go. You make it sound like Calgary has 20 200 meter towers lol. Always something to say about Montreal. I guess Montreal should also watch out for Winnipeg right?? lol
