The Raptors problem is that American born players will not give 100% if they are playing in a (perceived) basketball outpost like Toronto. Vince "no cable" Carter immediately comes to mind when I think about players who lay down. I believe this is why we in Vancouver lost our team. Unless international players get a whole lot better, the corporate owned Raptors future looks hopeless. While every other team is playing in a beautiful purpose built park, the Jays are still playing in a multi-purpose stadium. The venue problem afflicts the Argonauts as well. Toronto FC is getting left behind by the 2 other Canadian clubs. I dunno, like I say, must be depressing.

I want nothing more than for Wiggins to find his way to the Raptors. The effect it would have not only on the team but for all of Canadian basketball is immeasurable.
