It will be interesting to see the rebar, steel and formwork for all that concrete take shape between now and then. They say it is 106' deep on the S/W side to the bottom of the excavation.

It will be nice to have a high location to see the view from, and out by the rooftop pool.

Looks U/C to me, but I'll let a mod more familiar with the LA projects move it.

Do you think they'll need a second tower crane?

I see more of those square forms, and they look like they have rebar in them.

Maybe those orange marks are where the core goes?

What are those long pipes? Or is that extra heavy rebar?

WTC 1 was moved to the construction section MUCH earlier than this stage. Come on guys, lets MOVE IT OVER! The crane is already in the ground.

U/C already? Exciting times ahead, even more exciting when I realized that besides the honorable mention of the Comcast Center in Philly this will be the first supertall out of the ground in the US that isn't in New York or Chicago in over twenty years.

Congratulations LA for being one of the first outside cities to have a supertall under construction besides NYC and Chicago. I like the design but its ashamed that your building roof height isn't going to surpass Library Tower. It would of been cool if it was a floor taller and then have that spire. But ether way its a win!

I blew up this detail from one of Mojeda101's photos on flickr, hope he doesn't mind.

Looks like several tons of rebar already in place in that central area.
