The developer building apartments at 50 S. 600 W. now owns every house on the block. The larger parcel behind those homes is owned by UTA as is the parcel on the NE corner of North Temple and 600 West. I would not expect any of those homes to be around very long as both property owners are anxious to develop the property.

In other news, expect to see 2 buildings demolished in the near future on the SE corner of 500 South and 300 East just south of the new Public Safety Building. The owner of the property has submitted for demolition permits for a building on 300 East and a building on 500 South. The developer anticipates building 119 apartments in a 6 story structure.
