It's that time of year again. The illuminated Dallas Cowboys logo is back on the side of Cabot Tower to shine above the old city of St. John's as we commemorate the anniversary of Santa Claus being nailed to a tree to absolve us of our sins.

One cute fact about ours: it inspired the construction of St. Patrick's in New York. When their Bishop came to the consecration of our church, he was awed and decided if "a few thousand fishermen can erect such a grand Basilica, than surely all the Irish in New York can as well".
