It is the rental tower to be built where the old granite and marble cutters building sits (across from Hotel arts on 13th). There is a thread for it called BCIMC rental apartment.

sorry Design, still couldn't figure out where this building is. Isn't Hotel Arts on 12th ave instead of 13 ave. When you say it across from Hotel arts on 13th ave, do you mean these old rental apartments next to Color building?

Moving up to the last floor. The largest of the two penthouse suites is still available. I have inquired and the asking price for the 1664 square feet suite w/ terrace is $1,395,000.

Another day in the life of the Greenway Project.

Hotel Arts really spans from 12 to 13. But yes just East of Colours in the vacant lot. The Slum rental right beside Colours is staying unfortunately.

That seems very steep. Just checked out the layout, and I'm not a huge fan. No den/flex room, and a door to the terrace from the bathroom?

Kind of steep, but it's all relative. The penthouses at 'The River' are around 6,000 sq ft, but sold for 8 and 9 million. Considering this is a penthouse with quite a large terrace over looking a park and quite possibly having the best downtown view of anywhere, it's not a half bad price IMO.

Just a cursory glance at MLS for some comparables. Mark on 10th penthouse available for 861K which is under $700 per square foot (Park's is over $800), Mark's is on a much, much higher floor. Also a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom 2000+ sqft unit at Waterfront for 1.2M, also a much higher floor works out to under $600 per sqft.

Personally I just think they are overvaluing the terrace in that price because the unit size just doesn't match at all.

Since when did Calgary price/sqft prices start equalling Manhattan? This still is Calgary right?
