Oh God. Shoot me if the rendering turns out to be a rouse for a horrible nasty building like the one in Dallas did.

That's not a bad looking building. And it might even complement the Waller Center towers nearby.

But yeah, that Dallas building is kind of meh. The base is pretty bad actually.

For me, I would feel like my body is being propelled over the rail if I were on the higher floors. I can stand on a precipice in nature and feel fine...on a balcony high up and not so fine.

Is that a true color for the Embassy Suites? Does it look that shocking from the street? If it does, PLEASE someone, next time hand the decider of the color some glasses that will mute the color for them.

Thanks for those pano's. Very impressive on my 27-inch screen! I especially love how silver the city looks in the at last image. I'm often amazed at how the W will change from black to blue and grey to bright silver in the changing light. I used to not like that building much, but it has really grown on me.

THANKS for the photos Kevin I agree the W looks better now and especially at dusk. The street presence is still very disappointing.

I count 10 construction cranes in the above photo. Two more are possible I think. Any other counts?

And some more outside of downtown that I didn't see that day.

2 - GreenWater Block 1 Residential
2 - GreenWater Block 185 Residential

Check the construction and proposals section of the forum. Any of those that we have heights for are listed there.

Speaking of that Kevin, is it time to move the Westin Austin from Proposed to Under Construction? Also, in your crane list above, are all those buildings listed on page one of this thread? Looks like there will be even more cranes in the sky next year?

I don't think they've actually started just yet on the foundations for the Westin. They're still digging.

This is the best list you're going to find of projects in Austin. I think 99 Trinity is the only one missing.

That is an excellent map, and 99 Trinity is on it now.
