Major activity at Brookfield Place today. New hoarding has gone up around the entire site, there is digging, pile driving, and even a cement truck on site. Looks like this development is now in full swing.

It might be crowded there - but I don't see anyone with their 1 gallon pails waiting to take some dirt away..

Way to go Surreal for getting into the parkade, as I heard they have beefed up security.

Why hasn't this thread moved to the Highrise Construction Thread yet... isn't it officially under construction?

I don't actually mind the rules to be honest. There have been many a project where the site has been cleared and even started shoring, but never got past that point.

In Calgary, you can get a permit for shoring that will allow you to start pile driving and shoring, ( down to 30' I think), before getting an approved BP.
