^^Nice pic, and there seems to be a perfect hole there for Brookfield to in-fill!

On the Belt-line pics - I bet square-footage wise, it beats both Saskatoon and Regina's skylines combined.

Being from Toon-town all I can say is, Calgary, it looks good on you! I always enjoyed visiting the 'Big City' when I was a teen during your '80's boom. That's when Scotia Centre was like, the tallest tower in town, for a bit! Woo!

Took some pretty sweet snaps of the city skylines yesterday evening. Not the greatest quality, but keep in mind, I took them with a cell cam, travelling nearly 100 kph on Sarcee Trail

Thanks! When I was up there last evening, I was thinking about all the buildings that have gone up in the last few years - amazing to see.

I was stuck in traffic on Glenmore last evening, and the view is pretty good over top of Centre St/Fairmount Dr!

That's exactly why we shouldn't stop posting pictures. They're wrong, and they need to be shown that they're wrong. 80% of the idiots talking shit about Calgary have never even been here, another 10% have only been here for a couple hours. Most of us have actually been to or lived in the cities they're from, and yet we still prefer or at least love Calgary. No point burying our heads in the sand because of a bunch of pedantic ignoramuses.

Just saw this off of Calgary Retweeter. Photo quality is virtually zero (I'm guessing it is from one of those remote control choppers) but the capture of one of Calgary's more unique buildings with the skyline in the background is pretty cool.
