Took a note from Monkeyronin's book here, except all of these are actually my own pics.

One more... our old Parliament (with just a single, tall, narrow entrance - so weird) and the Cochrane Street United Church. I love that church. It looks so tropical. That street is named for the Governor who actually built Government House at the edge of Bannerman Park.

Thanks Jimby. No one else cares about posting dozens of pics, so why should I? I tried and failed, no biggy and at least it's something 95% of the people on here have never seen, rather than the same stuff everyone has seen. Not to mention all but 2 of them are my own pics in the Lethbridge post.

No worries Canus, there will be no more snarkiness. I understand it was rude of me to ask for people to post respectable amounts for people with bad computers. I won't try to wield such unfounded authority anymore.

I thought those Toronto pics were awesome, & I don't really care who took them. Thanks for posting them MonkeyRonin.

I never said they weren't good pics, in fact I said they were awesome. The argument is over anyways, I conceded! Just means I get to post more pics, not a bad result all things considered.

Regardless of what is posted or how, what is glaringly obvious the past couple weeks on these forums is that there are some forumer(s) who are clearly mentally ill and need to get therapy for their love of responding emotionally and with paranoia to everything. Some people need to work on their social skills.

It's true, obviously it's been something I have been personally struggling with quite badly lately. That's why I have been trying to stop arguments after I notice that I'm escalating them. Sorry again

I'd go even further, statistically it's almost guaranteed that 27 "cream of the crop" pics resulting from some internet sifting by MonkeyRonin will be better than 27 pics all by MonkeyRonin himself. So I'd rather see the former!

And I actually think it takes more time and involvement to bring the community here a selection of 27 great pics from your city than it takes for you to press on your camera's button 27 times while you're out there in your city, and post them here.

Yup! And, it's worth repeating it, MonkeyRonin's selections are always remarkable and I appreciate completely the time he takes to select such awesome pics of his city.

Harbourside Park (from the harbour to Water Street), the National War Memorial (between Water and Duckworth streets), and old St. John's beyond.

The Battery.

Here's a good shot of the 2-22 building in Montreal's Quartier des Spectacles. It was completed a while ago, but recently had this lighting system installed.

A house a few down from mine is burning down right now. There's a break between this rowhouse section and mine, though, so I'm not worried.

This is why home owner's insurance is $2,000/year for our little houses.
