put a down payment down in august 2013. now just the waiting game till completion. cannot wait till completed. will have a beautiful south east facing corner suite. Floor plan G1 on the website. hopefully can talk to other people that are waiting till completion.

Front Street street front, the city was hoping for something that would look good after the parking structure is taken down. We'll see how it turns out.

Took some more pictures today. They're at the eighth floor now and it's really starting to come along. The original Trapp facade stops at the seventh floor, which is also when the unit ceiling height changes from ten feet to eight feet. A new floor is going up every eight days.
That is quite the imposing streetwall on Front Street. If Front is to have any hope of once again becoming a pleasant shopping street, there should be some damn nice cladding on it.
ah, that's a good observation that gets me wondering about the street treatment on front - are we looking just at loading/vehicle ingress or will there be some commercial space as well? these sites there are right in the middle of that commercial strip on front. i mean, it's clear from the photos that they did virtually no excavation, so i'm guessing that the front street frontage will be given to personal vehicle storage, no?
The city is planning a Front Street Mews for this stretch of Front Street after the parkade comes down early next year. You can get a glimpse here on page 11 (warning: PDF):
All resident parking for T+H will be in the building. There are six levels of parking: two levels underground and four levels above ground that face Front Street. Tower suites for this project start after podium. To replace the lost parking spots after the parkade comes down, there will spots available on Front Street Mews, in the Anvil Centre, and I believe there will be some public parking in the underground of the Larco project.

Yeah, I'm a bit concerned about the monolith too. There is some Front Street retail space on the ground floor, but it's pretty tiny (3 units that are quite narrow and only 600sgrf each). Stuff on leasing is here.
