A couple of shots I took from the viaduct yesterday. Sorry about the quality - cellphone + bad weather.

Great shots, thanks!

The site looks bigger now than when it was empty.

looks like they will be moving ahead with the next towers soon!

construction fences have gone up around the trees on the Abbott and Pacific sides.

see my pics below

Would this now be the east or the south tower? I am really looking forward to see the latter taking form.

I believe the south tower was supposed to be the next in line.

The second 31-story South Tower will not be attached to Rogers Arena, but will be in close proximity on the South Plaza. The South Tower will include five levels of underground parking with over 200 rental residential units in addition to fitness and multipurpose facilities. Excavation will begin in the fall of 2013.

The third 28-story East Tower, which will be located above the current Canucks Team Store,, will be another mixed-use highrise with both rental residential apartments and office suites. Construction of the tower is scheduled to begin in 2014.

Maybe they moved up the schedule on the East Tower since they've also fenced off the trees on that side as well.

Seems like it. Otherwise the trees on Abbott are no where near the excavation for the parakde.

I think they will be moving to the East tower next and using the site of the South tower for staging and the like .... but they have the `tree fences` up on both Pacific and Abbott ... so seems like work will be going on at tower 2 and 3 sooner rather than later

Who's building the new plaza for BC Place?

Don't even get me started on the roads...

Apart from misrepresenting the area, great render!

Hey look, it's the Georgia Steps!

...and a giant super road in front of it...

...and a bizarre two-way Georgia Viaduct...

well, at least we can see in the render how truly awful a surface super-road would actually be

This. Whole lot of WTF going on. Great quality on the renders though, content is a little questionable.
