I have a lot of difficult exceeding 30km/h on residential streets anyway because I have to constantly weave between parked cars and stop for cross streets.

Are they working on the 401 West to 403 ramp? Is it part of the widening project?

They are just grading a stub ramp and then leaving it. I don't know why they didn't just build it as part of this project. If they are going to build the ramp, what are they waiting for?

It should have been built when they built the interchange.

The opposite connection perhaps? Probably just going to be a loop ramp from 403NB to 401WB right?

It always amazes me how big our island is. You can go from Vancouver to Lethbridge in less than the driving distance from St. John's to Halifax.

^love it. too bad it was raining much of the way. This seems to be the long way. When I drive from Lethbridge to Vancouver (several times), I always take the Crowsnest Highway.

The times I have taken that drive have been enjoyable. Last time through was about a year ago.

Crowsnest is longer and absolutely god awful

Going through Kamloops is totally the long way. Take the 3 even though its only a 2 lane highway. Its more beautiful and you get to go through Castlegar as well.

Herb Gray Parkway in Windsor, ON is coming along slowly but surely.

Was out in the Eastern Townships (well, technically the eastern Montérégie) this afternoon, and I couldn't believe how congested Autoroute 10 was (toward Montreal). I'm thinking that a third lane on either side might need to be added between Autoroute 30 and Autoroute 35 (where everybody coming from St-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Vermont merges in). Stuck for an hour in 25km/h traffic...

BTW, that part of Quebec is beautiful this time of year. I definitely recommend making the trip.

I regularly go to Magog during summer months (I was also there this past weekend) and the traffic is always bad going east on Friday night and Saturday morning/early afternoon and bad coming back Sunday late afternoon/evening... It's been like that for years! The 10 could use a 3rd lane all the way to Sherbrooke.
