The clear glass is a lot less sterile looking than the mirrored glass.
I hope there is a happy ending with the Dennis Building. It would add so much to the neighbourhood if it were thoughtfully incorporated into a redevelopment that would take up the surrounding empty lot. The neglect and constrains imposed by the province make that seem a little less likely though. Maybe they'll partner with a private developer or sell off the land? If they don't the best-case scenario is probably facadism and a bland, single-use government office building. Barrington and Granville don't really need more of those.
Does anyone know what the plan is for jacking this crane?
Are they jacking it a bit or taking it to the top as it appears they are out of room once the floor is done that they are now on?
It looks like there are pegs on the bottom of the cab section that would attache to a jacking mechanism.
I would think though that it might slow down for a bit now until they can finish off the lower levels and move the tenants down from the top half of the tower.

Seems odd that you would stop production and let a crane sit idle for weeks. On larger towers they routinely finish the lower floors as the tower is still going up.

I'm just guessing at what might happen as they have to be able to accommodate current tenants without blowing out the walls on the occupied floors.
