No, you're not misreading. I should have been clearer. I mean, I wish it was a *primarily* residential development.

I recall reading that it would be partially residential; however, now that you've forced me to go read, it seems like it's better than I thought:

130 units is not bad at all! Would love to see an urban grocery pop up around there, given these units plus the condo developments on Gottingen nearby.

Nice shots. Looking at the webcam, a crawler crane is being assembled to work on the parking garage, so far all the work has been done with two mobile cranes.

I like the texture of the concrete block and brick and the height of the lower floors. I'm hoping the apartment building will have a really great ground floor retail spot that will attract something substantial.

I'm really hoping that the cladding to cover up the currently exposed parts of the building are like a nice brushed aluminum or something, a really contrasting material that will stand out against the brick, but not be too out of place. I stayed at the Hilton Baltimore when I was just down there, everything about that place was epic. The building itself, the design, the exterior finish. The inside was gorgeous too, not a single detail was spared.. I hope it's the same with these...

The views from Citadel Hill and the police station are certainly different now (much better in my opinion).

This apartment complex @ 18 stories is turning out to be massive! There really hasn't been much detail let out on this so it's interesting to watch it morph into something!
