I hope the Yonge and Grenville design gets changed. It could shape up to be one of the ugliest buildings in the city alongside Lago at waterfront.

With a little less balconies, I think it could turn out ok. I actually can't wait to see a tower go up on that site. Yonge/College is gonna feel like a completely different intersection, with Aura and Karma in the mix.

I'm looking forward to Yonge & Grenville as well. It promises to be a much needed departure from the sterile sheets of glass we've been afflicted with. Of course it will boil down to execution and quality materials, but finally something with character.

We have very different taste. It's one of the few designs that have surfaced that make me say: finally something both attractive and unapologetic. If I have to endure another Bay-Adelaide I'll slip into a coma.

Speaking of Lagos, I see on the diagram it is now listed as U/C.

Massey Tower - 207 meters

Craner - the empty lot for theatre park is actually bigger,....... But Massey Square will also the be built over the historic bank building to the right of my photo and out of shot.

88 Scott - 205 Meters

Demolition Elevators have now completely surrounded the old histroic building.

That's part of what makes the street level of Massey Tower so cool. A century+ old facade as the main entrance with an ultra modern facade right there. Half and half.

Can't wait until 2120 when Massey, now a century old tower with a 2+ century old entrance facade, gets absorbed into a super-structure.

Out of all the projects approved/uc in Toronto, I am looking forward to seeing Massey Tower go up the most. I think it has huge potential and will give Yonge St some much needed density. One Bloor would probably be tied for #1. I can't decide which projects excites me more.

For me it's Massey Tower, not only because it will fill in the stubborn skyline gap between the CBD and Aura and because it will bring some, much needed, big-city height close to Yonge-Dundas Square, but also because it's saving the heritage buildings at its base from demolition and is much taller than anybody ever expected for such a tiny and complex site. It will also create a precedent for taller buildings northeast of the CBD.

^ Yes very true. It's a unique project and I think will turn out incredible. People will be surprised on this one. And to think One Bloor will be 165ft taller than Massey. Imagine the feel at Yonge & Bloor with that monster. It will totally give the intersection a new feel.

Agreed. Right now Yonge & Bloor feels very busy but is lacking that big-city vibe you get in the heart of the CBD. Standing there feels more like you're in the downtown of a 500,000 person city. Too much blue sky. A 250+ metre tower right on the corner will put an end to that.

Wow 42 of the top 50 biggest proposals are in Toronto. Crazy! I wonder though how many of those will actually be built 10 years from now. My guess is 20 to 25 of them.

I take it you mean a city of 500k in a metro of about 1.5 million.
