City has land for sale in Ft. Rouge next to the rapid transit station with nothing around it.

Some of the comments on the Sun site make me laugh: one guy "More taxes and new rules", when 2 of his ideas suggest tax cuts and incentives, one guy complaining about the road conditions with no understanding that the reason they are in such a state is a lack of tax density.

I wonder if people actually realize that building more roads in single-family subdivisions give the city more long term liabilities.

the one time in your life you get to be on the front page of a newspaper and bam.....oy.....I have been taking a ribbing all day....I have heard all the jokes...pretty hilarious...the only person who hasn't said anything yet is my mom.

my boss stuck a poster on the wall in the office photoshopped in a sunshine girl frame....he said, Brent keeps busy by pointing out erections in Winnipeg's downtown skyline.

it is odd...it started as an e-mail interview of 10 people and I was just going to be one voice but it somehow became my show in the end.....I wrote it 4 or 5 months ago......my email has been down for two days so I don't know if the free press had anything to say about it.....even the camera man was....so, you write for the free press?.....yup...that's a bit weird no?...yup.

Yup, something struck me as odd in that front page photo, didn't realize you would be the first to get that excited being on the front cover of the Sun.

it was an e-mail interview...compiled by the editor....I think she asked something like, what ideas would you transport from other cities to Winnipeg.....I wrote about 3 pages in response.
