Ooops, I've done it now. Caltrane and Travis are about to post several pics in defense of the fact that Toronto has the best lightning of anywhere ever

But in all honesty, there is one somewhere around the Interweb where someone is standing on the top of Winnipeg's tallest during a T-storm and gets a shot of the entire sky lighting up like the 4th of July. I can't for the life of me find it though.

Calgary's is good but that TO shot is incredible!! Reminds me of the movie "Independence Day", right when the alien ship destroys the Empire State building!!

Supposedly Windsor and surrounding area is the lightening capital of Canada, but we don't have hugely tall things like the CN Tower to show it off.

Love it! def the winner, you just can't beat the look of lightning hitting the CN Tower. It's epic. Calgary comes close 2nd tho

PS I am off to Montreal today , I will try to get some Montreal skyline and street shots.

I think its a close call between Toronto and Calgary.

Calgary providing a real challenge to Toronto on all fronts (including lightening, skylines) at a little more than a fifth the size.

the cn tower should not just attract lightning, it should shoot lightning.
