All that was mentioned in the email I received was the Phase 1 tower - it was supposedly increasing to 20 levels (but based upon the link someone else posted in this thread, it appears it hasn't been confirmed yet). There was nothing mentioning the Phase 2 tower.

IMO, having both the same height will make for a much better looking design than two uneven towers. I'm all for the 20/20 building heights.

The excavation is progressing nicely. Yesterday they were at P3 working down to P4. I work in the area and can here the occasional blasting throughout the work day 3 blocks away.

The base portion of the tower crane is in place. The scafold staircase for workers to access the excavaton is built. I expect the crane will be raised this weekend.

Yeah I saw it up this Sunday, coming north on Prince of Wales.

That view coming down the hill towards Dow's lake is going to look quite different if all these condos get built!

Sky Collection

I heard on Hot 89.9 last week that they released new floors called the sky collection - I think the ad said they were adding 4 floors.
Did anyone here attend?

Remember when they were approved for 16 & 20 floors and they wanted 20 & 24 and were granted them? That's the extra '4 floors' they are talking about. It is floors 16-19 on the shorter tower. I believe they will have different layouts and more 2 bedroom designs compared to the previously announced floor plans.

Thanks! I checked out their website (www.sohochampagne.com) and their new floors are available there. Saw a new 2 bedroom and some re-designs of old plans.

A quick look on their website shows that there are still units left, mainly on the higher levels (if you followed the project, they recently increased by 4 levels, which is were most of the available units seem to be - according to www.sohochampagne.com)

Best bet is to contact them though.

Again, their website has some pics up. It's Flash protected so I can't copy and paste for everyone's convenience - http://sohochampagne.com/construction.html

The one that is to be built. The one that'll be at the same height as the crane, the same vantage point where these pictures were taken.

I understand now. Did you go up that crane...I am afraid of heights.
