The biggest advantage by far in Midtown is the street grid between North and 14th. That gives both N/S and E/W connectivity that could never exist in the Lenox section. While the Buckhead village area does have a partial grid it is nowhere near as extensive.
I suspect Buckhead will continue to grow quite a bit in the next couple of decades but at some point it has to max out with the current infrastructure.

Buckhead, Lenox and what is the third station? A major problem with the current set up is that Buckhead Atlanta is ~1 mile from the Buckhead station, so I wouldnt count on too many people using that method of transit, unless there will be an appealing transfer method between the two.
