Forms for the "V" columns are up.
They've changed them back to the original "V" isoceles triangles, rather than right-angle triangles that match the bracing on the podium cantilevered part (unless that cross bracing has been changed):
I am very excited for how this thing interacts with Georgia. The tower is fine in my opinion, but the street level looks like it will add a lot of flavour to Georgia.
It's a bit of a catch-22. Georgia St. (like Burrard St.) is a ceremonial street with alternating plazas - but those plazas tend to look nice, but often kill street life. It'll be interesting to see if this plaza helps or not (mind you, it's an improvement over the sunken plaza that was there before).
I took that photo from the observation tower. We'll probably get the odd photo by people from there as construction progresses

Not much new from previous photos, but I wanted to see the deep excavation with my own eyes. It is actually damn scary to stand next to the fence with a vertical drop just a feet away. I puzzles me how they manage to keep it from collapsing...
