Preliminary counts are 28,000 a day, right in line with the projections of 25,000. (There were a number of projections floating around, based on both minor changes in design, and on different future horizons; for planning purposes, looking at what ridership will be in 10 or 15 years may be more useful than the day it opens, but that causes confusion as a 2029 scenario gets quoted as a ridership projection for today.)

I'd suggest that a projected ridership within around 10% of the actual ridership adds some credibility to other ridership projections published by Transit.
