CP tracks and other buildings were in the way of the existing alignment of 114 Ave. I don't know anything about the city twinning it... I wouldn't think it's necessary at the moment.
I went through Stoney/Crowchild a few weeks ago and didn't notice anything going on aside from LRT work.
