Hit up 3 boars patio last night with some friends. Such a great little patio to hang out on, enjoy some incredible and unique cocktails/beer and snack on delicious treats.

my grandmother used to work in the cafe that was there in the 50's when they first moved from the farm. She almost ended up buying it a few years later.

i'd love to track down some old photos of that building from that era.

Delicious iced latte, sandwich and salad from the Cavern today, albeit a bit on the pricey side at $15.50.

^ I'm guessing they discovered that the building was in worse shape than they anticipated...

I was at the Commerce Place food court when I spotted the owner of Curry Fix in the hot dog place (where Fat Franks used to be). He told me he's indeed running both places and that he's opening an Italian place next to the hot dog space. I joked that eventually he'll be running the whole damn food court! But kudos to him for filling up those empty spaces in the food court.

Indeed. That has become quite a busy food court over the past few years.

Went to La Ronde last night for our 1st wedding anniversay dinner with the wife.
Really enjoyed the service. Our waiter, Dean(ask for him if you go) was outstanding and looked after us very well.
I had the Beef Wellington and it was done well and had a good taste to it. My wife had the Prime Rib and she said it was very good. Had a couple cocktails as well and some dessert and the damage came out to $135.
I had never been and had heard all about the revolving restaurant here so figured it'd be a good place to hit up for our anniversary dinner.

That's our go too spot. Never had a bad experience there.
