That's kinda pathetic. The hole for Seylynn Village is bigger.

You're stating an opinion about a building based on its unfinished hole?

An argument about whose hole is bigger? What is this a Kardashian family dinner?

No, I'm comparing progress to a recently announced development that I'm familiar with.

Yah well the hole for <insert some other random development here> in <insert some random city on the planet here> is bigger than Seylynn Village's so there.

</sarcasm>

What are we 2 years old.

Good to see progress being made. Will be nice to see them start digging for Park Avenue in the next 3 or 4 months, hopefully sooner. More construction of high-rises is always a good thing.

No "we" are just insecure Surreyites as usual. It isn't your hole, don't take personal offence.

you think I'd take "personal" offence over such a comment? That's pretty funny. It's not us posting in a thread about a specific building that they have started digging the initial hole that are insecure. It's the "North Vancouver" resident that feels the need to post in another thread about how sucky a hole is that... err.. nevermind.

Phase 1 is the tower farthest from 104. Phase 2 will be the tower right on 104.

ahhh I see..too bad, I would've liked to have seen the one against 104th first. With city hall, and (future)Bosa building it would've given 104th a nice downtown corridor feel.

With the next tower in the Urban Village development going between Ultra and the Wave-1-pit, if they'd done in the reverse I imagine it would've been a tight squeeze to fit all that construction equipment between the 2 highrises.

Good point, but isn't Urban Village tower 2 that is being developed by a Weststone expected to go up within the next 3 years irregardless of Wave tower 1?

I don't understand why people use the "word" irregardless. It doesn't make any sense. Regardless means without regard and adding "ir" to it makes it mean "without without regard", which either is redundant or changes the meaning of the word to mean the opposite.

It's also not an actual English word. Despite being listed in numerous dictionaries, it's always listed as a non-standard word. And anyway, being in the dictionary does not make it a real word, bootylicious is in some dictionaries...

Regardless, you are correct Cypherus that Urban Village tower 2 will happen anyway as the Wave development is separate.

Yah looks like they are ready to start construction soon. Drove by a few weeks ago and it looked like the hole was fully dug and ready to start.
