Right I forgot about that, and doesn't Surrey have a 170 meter that is probably gonna go ahead sooner than later as well?

The Surrey one is 164 meters.

Pretty cool that soon Metro-Vancouver will have 4 separate skylines with towers over 160 meters tall.

Altus breaks ground on June 15th by the way.

Yeah that is pretty wild! It's only a matter of time before Coquitlam gets there too, their tallest is already over 120 meters! Wow that is great. Burnaby is going crazy. I thought just getting into the ground for Sovereign and Metroplace was an incredible achievement, but now that they are both well on their way to the top, both of Burnaby's super-developments are still chugging ahead full-steam! The first phases of both Station Square and Solo District are already UC... with a new tallest about to start. How awesome

And who knows what the Sears site has in store, 5 residential and 2 office towers to compliment the already 3 existing Metroplace office towers (Canada's most impressive suburban office towers IMO).

So that is 6 skylines in Metro-Vancouver with towers over 100 meters as well (Downtwon, Brentwood, Metrotown, New Westminster, Coquitlam, and Surrey). With 2 new skylines soon to be built with towers over 100 meters (Marine and Oakridge).

I'm pretty sure Edmonds has at least 1 or 2 towers over 100 meters as well.

It looks like the Burnaby's tallest u/c will no longer be the Sovereign at 156 meters, but Altus at 168 meters!

No, I believe that is the estimated heights for Station Square's tallest.
