Agreed. Every time I'm around a major Asian city I always enjoy how the buildings don't seem to fit the standard mold that we so often get for buildings here.

This breaks it, and I hope we start to see more character in our skyline!

That second pic is my favourite angle. It really shows the density of that block, which reminds me of a dense downtown block in NYC. Yes, you read right...I am comparing Calgary to the Big Apple!

Blocks like this one scream crowded megacity--unlike Herald Square.

This building is gorgeous and elegant. Truly an amazing addition to the skyline. I love how squat and massive The Bow looks in comparison to this

I am looking at that last skyline shot and I feel like we scored a bit if the Transbay SOM design in that. Obviously the grid designs of Transbay is very different, but the profile feels similar. Love this!
