Back on topic, I'd like to see a few more commercial towers around Metrotown.

I think the long term plan is for commercial towers on the Kingsway side of Metropolis (on the parking lots).

They're working on the roof slab. From a distance, the main roof looks virtually level with the with that of MT II.

Thanks SMHO! I guess by the next week or so, all the scaffolding would be gone. This tower has been long overdue!

Nice! It looks like its finally topped off. Is it me though or is the glass tint totally different from the two existing MetroTowers?

Yes, the color of the glass on the new tower is much lighter than the old towers. In some lighting the three look similar, but most of they don't. I would have liked them to be more matching to look more like one unified complex. Now the the tower will be very standalone (shape and color).

Well, its too bad they don't match but the issue is so minor. For me, what's important is we have yet another really cool office tower finally being completed in the Metro Vancouver area where more companies can setup shop with an excellent location, right beside a rapid transit line, and access to a huge mall for leisure, shopping and dining needs.

Maybe if they build a 4th tower over the bus loop, it will match III.
