Considering that they are pretty big vertically, it would be safe to say that it may be public space.

Good to see. It was expected to get approved, but still, it's another hurdle out of the way.

I wish they were doing pile driving. These are just coring trucks. They will look at the cores to see what depth they will need to put the pilings to handle a building of this height.

Indeed. Good sign that they are coring, it seems like they are moving on this one.

Another good sign for this project. Public notices have been posted.

Lots of action on site today. We have many surveyors taking measurements on both the empty lot and inside the parkade.

Why the shadowing comments? The buildings as proposed don't infringe on any of those requirements.

Interesting rumor from the Calgary thread. Others have heard the same rumor which may explain why Brookfield is moving full bore on this one.

Drove by the site yesterday as we left the Stampede, can't wait to see some piling and excavating equipment on site.

Even in light of Telus Sky being announced I think this will be a solid tower, with the devil being in the details in its finishing, and will look very nice in our skyline as the new tallest.

Bigtime: Don't mean to beat a dead horse, but I'd still like to see Brookfield find another 50-60 feet (4 floors) on this one.

Place your bets on the anchor tenant! I still think it will be Cenovus, lots of talk swirling around with their name.
