IMO, Myrtle Beach is a
much more appropriate location for for this type of contraption. If people are hell-bent on putting one downtown, this is a better location than where Marcus planned near the aquaruim. Its a more attractive, close-up view of most of downtown without overlooking the train tracks and warehouses to the west of the aquarium area.
I'm not against additional things for tourists and locals to enjoy downtown, I would just prefer something more unique.
