back to phoenix, sullivan and torres just went, it looks like doan may be on the market, a convenient mini roster dump for the next owner's management, especially if it'll be stocked up with quebec players

We deserved to lose because we played like crap... but that was the flukiest win I've ever seen in my life.

The Flyers 4 goals tonight (excluding the empty netter)
-Bounce off the boards directly to a Flyers stick.
-Couturier completely misses his shot, hits Subban's leg and goes in
-Flyers player shots the puck (going wide) hits Simmonds skate and goes in
-Flyers player tries a pass, hits Bouillon's leg and goes in

Once again, we played like crap so we deserved but the bounces tonight were RIDICULOUS!!!

And now it seems Plekanec is injured. I think the hockey gods are pissed at us.

Just curious what Winnipeg fans think of the realignment next year? your division will be brutal.

Wow, the Flamers look awful.

I mean, I expected the Oilers to beat this dismantled team, but I didn't expect to see the Oilers completely curb-stomp them a second time.

Re: Montreal

I have to say that Subban has come a long way toward being a respectable player. He's not totally there yet, in my eyes, but he makes much smarter plays than he did just a year ago, and his play doesn't seem like he should be suspended every shift any more.

This is what happens when you have to insert two defensemen amongst the slowest in the league into a lineup that was already terrible defensively. Kipper's bad stats this season have nothing to do with him being bad, the defense is just rediculously bad in front of him.

That and most of the team doesn't care anymore.

Flames are tired of owning the BoA, figured they would give the Oilers a turn.

I hope the losing continues.....in fact this is a great time to give the players on the farm club some more playing time...find out which players show any kind of promise.

Oh, the losing will continue. It's a good year apparently to have a top 3/4 pick.

If I am Kiper I retire and sign a 1 year deal in the KHL for at least 4-5 mill min, after taxes. If he is going to move he might as well move to the KHL and milk the last few years of his career.

I like it. Makes the most sense time wise for fans and for the players.

So much talent on this team. Yak's first goal was so sexy....Not every team has a guy with such a natural ability to find the back of the net ....Oilers have a handfull.

Tough schedule now for the Oil. But hey, the goal was to fighting for the playoffs in the last couple weeks of the season and that's where we find ourselves. Everything seems to be coming together at the right time...

Yeah the Flames were absolutely BRUTAL in their own end last night, and unfortunately that's where most of the game happened. They have been bad in their end all year, very passive play, not surprising they are now challenging for most goals against in the league.

They took over that distinction last night.

Florida has allowed 127, Flames have allowed 126 (with 96 for), so we are only second worst. Oh well, bring on Jones or MacKinnon!

I hate how the Draft system encourages teams to do poorly so they can get a better pick. Thanksfully the Flames are so poor I don't have to hope for bad results, our inability to defend ensures the required results.
