According to Google Maps, it's only 266 km from Bari, Italy, to Tirana, Albania. But the journey takes 9 hours, 55 minutes.

Yup. I've done this trip, it requires a rather sketchy overnight boat trip across the Adriatic. Tirana was pretty awesome.
