Great photos/perspective.

Is that column on the north west corner round? Why would they switch?

I believe the round columns will be exposed and that part of the building will be an outdoor terrace by looking at the renderings.

March 14
Unwrapping the last column on the transfer floor

March 15
Post stress cables arrive for the next floor.

More Scaffolding arrives

Setting up the scaffolding for the next level, assemble on their side the sections are then "tipped" up with the crane.

Happy St Pats day. Should get a shot or two as the local press covers the river turning (brighter) green.

3/22 Update

They got the boom installed to pour the concrete and were testing it out today. It looks to be installed just to the north of the core which makes sense now why there was a large hole which they were using for snow removal. It's very cool to see this progressing so rapidly after so many years!

Transfer floor #2

Note how thick this floor is, it looks like a second transfer floor.

I feel like each floor from this point on is a gift! It's been so long since this has been idle; every floor is going to make a noticeable difference in a great way. Thanks for the update Harry. That looks like it is about a 20 ft floor. What is it going to be used for? Also, does the thick floor above help to stabilize the height of the columns of this floor?

Ugh, I know. And I love those weird filigree panels. They're going to be chintzy and perverse and amazing.

i had to look up 'filigree panels'... and then i looked at the rendering again. HAH! my eyes completely missed that until just now. in any event... at this point i'd take a wretched precast nightmare over what's scarred that corner for the last [however many] years...

after typing this i remembered that super bad ass geometric proposal a while back. god... remember how cool that was? oh, what could have been.

Yeah yeah yeah, this is going to look good when all is said and done. BUT dammit locations like this are just tooo rare to do something half assed. Still should have reached Waterview's original height:
