Thanks, but I don't think I was anywhere near where you were. I was up near Mont-Bleu and A-5, you were way down on the parkway!

Yes, and apparently city of at least a few cranes as well.

Cheers

More sunset than skyline shot, but still pretty nice:

I really need to get out to Halifax. This summer I will for sure now that Porter services it.

I love Halifax's bonsai skyline! In a few more years it'll be filled in considerably more.

The cranes in the second photo give a sense of what some of the new buildings will look like.

The Nova Centre towers will be interesting because they are about 40 meters above the waterfront, so they will look about 100-110 meters tall. Those upper streets will feel a lot more downtown-like in a couple years. The new TD tower will also look a bit taller; it will be about the same height as 1801 Hollis but it is 10 m higher in elevation.

Also great photo of Montreal. Love that view of the JC bridge.
Well, it's not really normal for Ottawa to have a lot of snow (if any) left at this time of year.

I've always considered that Calgary's best angle: perfect balance in the skyline, great layering, wonderful background, interesting foreground, strong peaks/valleys, etc. Even the way the highway ramp swerves adds to the visual depth of the frame. You couldn't invent a better combination.

Those Calgary Skyline shots are amazing. It almost looks like something out of some futuristic movie or SciFi tale. Now you see where those 115,000 people that came to Alberta went!

May the Construction Gods Continue to be with you!

Those are nice Calgary shots, but something that is Bladerunner material?

This is ridiculous.

Shanghai looks amazing. But I love my beautiful Calgary where breathing doesn't require a knife and a fork.
