Oh this thread is fantastic! Definitely some laughs to go around. I just moved here from Regina in June 2012. I live at 123 10th Ave Sw with my boyfriend

so just a 30 floor elevator ride from the backlot! Anyways, just thought I'd let ya'll know that I'm super enthused in calgary's construction ( though am still wholheartedly amazed at my hometowns progress ), and thought I'd introduce myself to the community; as a double entendre. Great thread, and hope to be discussing more on the Calgary construction page. I'm still gathering my bearings as to what project is which etc. I have had the opportunity however to stay the night with friends in both Colours and Union Square. Neat little condos. And I am definitely loving the neighbourhood I live in too, working at Starbucks is a great way to meet the community as well!

I have to say, a pub with both "bear" and "kilt" in the name is pretty much perfect for a gay ssp meetup

haha! The Bear and Kilt is a great little pub on Stephen Ave! It's one of the underground ones like the Unicorn, except with good service.

lmao! Freeweed is a douche (not really, he's hilarious). All we did last time was drink beer/wine and talk. Then some people left and the rest of us went to a pub for more beer and nachos!

Poopysheep! Come join sometime if you like! Threads like this are a good way to make like-minded friends. The more the merrier. We heard that there was a meetup the same day we set ours up for last time, as if the straight dudes kinda just silently said "well we don't wanna go to a gay 🞵🞵🞵🞵!"

Obviously we're not 🞵🞵🞵🞵-ing! 3 of the 4 of us that showed up last time are in committed relationships and one of them had their bf there!
