Sorry, that would be highest in the province as of 2006. Now those numbers have changed for the 2011 census as Regina has annexed more land changing the population density numbers. Regina went from occupying 118 a sq/sm in 2006 to 145 sq/km in 2011 which would significantly affect the population density numbers. With more land to be annexed in the future I would assume those numbers would change even more.

Took a drive along Spadina under the new bridge a few days ago. The road has been open all winter. Nice to see the new bridge from that angle with the walkway hanging there. Once the trails are completed it will be great for walking and cycling. It always has been a scenic drive. Hopefully they will fix the road all the way along there so more people can enjoy it.

Absolutely true. They have to use the city urban footprint, not the CMA.

I had looked at the other SSP link before but it was like walking into a half finished conversation. After reading all four pages it appears some guy with access to e-stat data did a lot of analysis (was questioned by a demographer though - so I'm not sure if it was done right or not). In any case it seems a heck of a lot more revealing than the stats can figures based on CMAs. It would be nice to see similar analysis for Saskatoon and Regina. I used to have e-stat access but lost it when UofC disabled extinct student/researcher passwords.

It's rumoured that http://www.lefevregroup.com/ (Riversdale/19th St. condo project) may have acquired the land, but that is strictly rumour and assumption from what I hear. Although, I hope its true.

According to the article below, it's a Vancouver-based group (spokesman David Bakonyi?). Le Fevre is based out of Victoria.

But maybe there's a connection?
