That's what I figured. I don't think it could be across from Barnes and Noble because Tech owns that lot, and as it appears this isn't being done directly by Tech but by the developers of Centergy.

Btw, that map is great, just gonna make me waste more of my day.

We're still getting it, and the corresponding info pages, fleshed out, but thanks

Maybe this has been addressed, but what is going on at the site of North Ave, and Ponce de Leon?

There are 2 different projects going on between North Ave and Ponce (besides Ponce City Market). The Georgia Proton Treatment center on Peachtree and 131 Ponce (apartments) on the site of the I.M. Pei building.

Not sure if you are the creator of this map or not, but thanks. Can you also add the new GSU dorms and GSU law building?

12th street office tower?

I don't know if this is something that to far into the proposed category, but you may want to add the 12th street office tower into that map. It was in the ABC last week as being marketed, but they didn't have a render yet.

Yeah, I saw that, but I don't think they've even closed on the property yet. I also have no idea which portion of the block it'd actually be on. Do you have any info?

Awesome map! One correction though. The Highland Park Townhomes being built on the Beltline are not Inman Park, but in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.

Has anyone really noticed how sleek the Hyatt Midtown looks now? Still not complete, but massive improvements to a really once sleazy hotel.

YES!!! It's amazing how good it looks! The 10th and Piedmont just down the street looks awesome also, tho it was cool having the bookstore, I never really went there, but it was just cool having it there.

It looks kind of bland to me.

Do you think that one day we will regret that many of the 80's post-modern buildings were renovated beyond recognition?

As someone who lives next to the future dome site, I can concur. It's a GIANT pain in my ass every time we have a game. Thousands of cars blocking my driveway, traffic backed up all the way to Northside Dr, terrible management of traffic by APD. Moving it directly behind my home is only going to make that even worse. Such is the price you pay living in the city. If anything, I would hope it could improve my neighborhood and add some retail to a barren part of Downtown.

Do you remember what was there before? Have you ever stayed in it's previous incarnation? It was a terrible looking hotel from the outside and with in.

@clexmond, here is another site you can add to your awesome development map!

206 Edgewood Ave Medical Office Building. $55 million for new 43,00 sqft medical office building with parking and ground-floor retail.

This is the empty lot on Edgewood across from Sweet Auburn Market. They talked about it on the Streetcar walking tour and mention it again here.

Tax incentives offered to boost businesses along Auburn, Edgewood (Creative Loafing)

Corridor Development and Investment Guide (Invest Atlanta)

GSU is mentioned throughout booklet, and the Atlanta Streetcar will really help connect campus. It will be exciting to see new development of the empty buildings listed at the end of the booklet.
